Extended Day Enrichment Program - EDEP
The EDEP offers fee-based after school programs at 40 elementary schools in Volusia County. Program hours are immediately after school ends until 5:45 p.m.
The EDEP provides a safe environment for elementary school students to develop friendships and explore new hobbies and interests. More than 3,500 students participate in offerings such as homework monitoring, music, arts & crafts, computer skills, recreational activities and field trips. Orange City Elementary provides a quality before/after school day care program. This enrichment program is available five days a week through the Volusia County Schools Extended Day program. The hours are: 6:30 am-7:30 am and 2:30 pm-5:45 pm On early release Wednesdays, the afternoon hours are 1:30 pm-5:45 pm. We provide a most exciting after-school program that engages students in a variety of supervised activities such as homework time, arts and crafts, games and recess.
A supper is served each day at 3:15pm.
There is a required non-refundable registration fee which covers insurance. The program is only open school days. The program is closed for school holidays.
